The Ph Collection - The Ph Chairs

I made two chairs, after the creation of the table.
One had a very wavy pattern (as one can see on the photo to the immediate right, the chair on the rock), and one had a straighter pattern.
The materials used were (for each chair) a 8 foot 2 by 3 plank and a 8 foot 1 by 2 plank. Each chair was a custom creation, fully designed by myself.
The chairs first go through a design process, in which the measurements are created and tested to see if everything fits. Then, we go buy the lumber, and cut it. After the wood is cut, there are holes drilled into the wood where each piece connects to the other. Then, the nails are drilled through the holes drilled in the previous step. Then, the creation of the chair is done. Now, onto the polishing. The chair has to be sanded completely, then onto the painting. The chair is coated with three layers of polyurethane. After that, the chair is done.

The Ph Collection - The Ph Table

This was my first creation. Since it was my first creation, I had to research what materials to use and how to do it. I found a website called morelikehome.net, which provides over 30 wood projects, all made of 2 by 4s.
So, I measured everything out, and went to buy the wood. After the wood was bought and cut, I started to drill holes into the wood. During that, I was injured and so I did not go back to the project until about 2 months after, when I had healed. Then, I continued without any other mishaps.
There were 4 steps to the creation of the table, similar to building the chair.  First, I researched and planned. Second, I bought and cut the wood. Then, there was the building. Finally, there was the sanding, polishing, and painting the polyurethane coating.
It was awesome.
